  • Yes I just purchased a puppy with a similar issue.  your puppy has what they call cork screw tail.  Mine has what they call Kink tail.  I did some research and basically they are birth defects that are shyed upon by show dog interest and breeders.  Some blame it on the inbreeding that is popular with this breed.  Others say it is mainly caused by position in the mothers womb. Also it is some times related to what they call Hemivertabre. I believe is the term for illness that affects the vertabrae. However it is less likely to be in just the tail..However keep an eye out for signs and symptoms of this illness. I will try to send you a picture of the kink tail.  Hope this helps.IMG_0974.PNG
